HEARING CONSERVATION
The purpose of a hearing conservation program is to preserve and protect hearing. Individuals who work or play in noisy environments should utilize appropriate hearing protection and receive annual hearing screenings to monitor any changes in hearing. The Audiology Department carries several styles of hearing protectors which are appropriate for a variety of noise environments, including firearms use. In addition, we carry a line of pressure regulating protectors for both children and adults which can reduce or eliminate discomfort from pressure changes during air flights.
